Where: Double Tree by Hilton on 28th St. in Grand Rapids Michigan
When: August 25th-27th 2016
The event is built around the 28th Street Metro Cruise along with the great cookout @ Denny and Monica’s on the Friday evening before the cruise. We are essentially adding one more day to an already successful event, with a trip to the Gilmore Museum on Friday. The Metro Cruise is scheduled for Saturday August 27th 2016 in Grand Rapids Michigan. This event in itself is huge with 3000-5000 cars in attendance and lots of cool rides running up and down the street.
Event Itinerary – Arrive Thursday August 25th, @ Double Tree by Hilton, @ 7:00pm, dinner with other Allanté friends in the Gander’s restaurant. Friday August 26th, after breakfast at the hotel, @ 9:30am depart for the day to the Gilmore Museum. (Special parking by the Cadillac building).
@ 4:00pm depart Gilmore in the afternoon for the Grub & Scrub Extravaganza @ Denny & Monica’s home in Holland Michigan. While we are enjoying fantastic food, our cars are being detailed (for those who want this service) by a professional crew in preparation for the next day’s event. Saturday August 27th, breakfast then @ 9:30am depart for car show at Harvey’s Cadillac with lunch complements of Joe Russo. Harvey Cadillac’s lot is a controlled and protected environment. After the show we will have time to go back to the hotel to freshen-up before a fantastic dinner @ NOTO’S Italian Restaurant with special parking. After all we do drive Italian cars… Awards to be presented.
Sunday August 28th depart for home after a great event or explore other venues in Grand Rapids at your leisure. Grand Rapids has a lot to offer, come early and/or stay late, you’ll enjoy your time here…
Transportation is in the works for a trip to Meijer Gardens for those individuals who do not wish to spend the day at Harvey’s. The 28th Street activities include vendors and displays along a F-i-v-E M-i-l-e L-o-n-g stretch.
Mark your calendar TODAY! You have sufficient time to check your calendars, arrange schedules and plan on attending The INVITATIONAL August 25th- 27th, those planning on attending can put this on your calendars TODAY!!!

It’s an Invitational, so ALL Allanté/XLR owners are invited. With the pre-planning already completed, along with past year’s success, we’re forecasting a record number of attendees. Those who DON’T attend will wish they had been here! We know all who attend WILL HAVE AN AMAZING TIME!
