October 18th - Sunday @ 10:30am
Drive to Galveston and Environs with seafood luncheon at The Fisherman's Wharf.

This Sunday, Oct 18th, we’re driving to Galveston for lunch at The Fisherman’s Wharf near the Strand … followed by a cruise along the Seawall:
 https://www.fishermanswharfgalveston.com/menu.asp .

Logistics/Agenda:  The Fisherman’s Wharf opens at 11:30.

At 10:15, those on the west end can rendezvous at Starbucks at Beltway 8 and Westpark (near Harwin Dr.) and then take Beltway 8 around the south side to pick up 45 south into Galveston.

Those on the north and east ends can take 45 south or Hwy 146 into Galveston.

The goal is to arrive at the restaurant between 11:30 and 11:45 for best seating along the waterfront.

Following lunch, we’ll walk a few nearby Strand shops and then cruise along the Seawall for photo ops at the famous Galvez and San Luis Hotels.

Tech NOTE:  AT ALL TIMES - Keep your battery charged with a low-current maintenance charger and the radiator/reservoir filled with fresh engine coolant.  This will help prevent electrical damage to the starter motor/alternator and accelerated corrosion of the cooling system & aluminum engine block.
